I guess the language I used in describing a new system of laws designed to equalize life for all was a little harsh and severe. Lately, I have been disgusted with politicians, business leaders, religion and the state of the world. It just seems like those who get away with the worst crimes, excesses, and indulgences in this world continue without letup or regard for the weak, poor and disadvantaged.
Someone has to stand up for those without representation.

1. No funding, endorsement, support, legalization, or promotion of any religion of any kind. All personal beliefs would be strictly personal. Proselytizing would be illegal. Religion would be recognized legally, nor granted any special status or privileges. Each citizen would be responsible for their own beliefs in private. 2. The official calendar would be modified to remove all holidays and celebrations. Labor laws would ensure all employers provide employees with a minimum of 30 days paid vacation per year. All employees would receive 15 sick/wellness/healthcare days for medical purposes. Scheduling would depend upon emergencies, seniority and finally business needs. 3. All citizens would pay a flat tax of 10% of their income to the national government. An appropriate regional or state tax of 5% would also be collected for state/municipal services. 4. My country would not accept or form any alliances, unless under direct attack. Neutrality in international affairs would be the primary foreign policy. Fair and open trade would be granted with all willing participants. Countries with objectionable practices would be boycotted (slavery, child labor, child pornography/sex trade, narcotics,terrorism). 5. All special privileges, benefits, salaries and compensation would be removed for all government employees. Civil service would become service oriented and a standard wage and benefits system would be enacted. All lobbying activities would be outlawed. All salaries for presidents, senators, congressmen, judges, agency directors, would be reduced to the national average for all citizens. 6. All sporting salaries would be legally capped for athletes at one million dollars per calendar year. 7. Legislation would be enacted to heavily tax the marketing/mass media industry and also limit the alloted broadcasting time for advertising to one hour nightly between 5PM & 6PM. 8. Legislation would be enacted to limit the salary of all chief executives to $250,000 per year. Investor & reporting fraud would be punishable by complete forfeiture of all assets, fines and a minimum of 20 years in prison sans parole options. 9. Wall street would be under administrative lockdown and constant supervision. 10. All citizens would be provided government sponsored loans to purchase homes. New land would be cleared to make room for homes to empty the projects, ghettos and serve the homeless. 11. Healthcare would be provided by the national government. 12. All citizens would be entitled to government sponsored education to the bachelor's level. Tuition would be legally capped at 10,000 per year for private schools, and 5,000 per year at public schools. Where would the money come from for all of these programs? By dispossessing the athletes, entertainers, executives, lobbyists, politicans, clergy, and known criminals. Hard working successful small and medium sized entrepreneurs would not be sequestered for assets. The seized assets would be liquidated to raise the standard of living, health and education for all citizens. Unwilling citizens would be forcibly dispossessed and forced to leave the country. How's that for starters?

Why Do JWs Only Preach In Poor/Middle Class Neighborhoods?

i've lived in every borough of new york and spent time at most of the local congregations until i finally decided that it was all for nothing (my recent posts on this forum explain why).
during this time, i noticed an interesting pattern - the jws only preach in poor to middle class neighborhoods.

We did preach in several upper middle-class neighborhoods, gated communities and some private developments where the homes did reach the 7-digit price range. I remember disturbing a middle-aged man on his way out to golf on a saturday morning. His front door was ajar, and he kept coming in and out loading the trunk of his expensive car with equipment. He was trying to be very brief and was in a hurry, but I kept pressing to leave the magazines, so he quickly snatched/grabbed them from my hand and drove off. I remember talking to the brother I was with and saying in an arrogant, self-righteous, cocky manner that someday the whole earth would be a giant golf course and it would be ours, but that man would not be around to "tee off" in the new system. What a jackass!

How can anyone enjoy a taxcut without at least reflecting momentarily on the sacrifices of our grossly underpaid military? So many are on food stamps and other forms of assistance while this administration, it's officials, the zionists it supports, and the corporate thieves & lobbyists are ALL FAT, HEALTHY and WEALTHY! I am definitely opposed to all forms of man-made/organized religion. But, to be fair, aren't there already hundreds of religious fundamentalists employed by us serving in the federal government. As a former technology manager for the judicial branch/US Courts, I can tell that a growing number of federal judges, magistrates, attorneys are active jews and many are zionists. The religious right and their zionist cabals are running this administration, so what additional harm are JW's going to cause? Do not give the JW's so much credit, attention and import. The majority are gullable, uneducated and few have true ambition to succeed. Unlike traditional secular fundamentalists from mainstream religions, JW's are not pre-disposed to "corporate climbing" and "lobbying/politicking". They prefer to exercise their microscopic ambitions in the "hall" with the elders & overseers to win group approval and petty responsibilities. They are barely on the map when it comes to being a government threat. They are more like fleas than ants.

Thank God that the majority of the viewing public in the US & Canada HAVE NO IDEA that this movie is using the name of one of classical Opera's most famous 20th century tenors (Beniamino Gigli) who was known as "Il Pozzo" (the well). When Pavarotti was a child in the 30's, he watched the REAL "Gigli" finish two complete shows in the local theatre and then perform 4 additional hours of requests from the crowd. Also, the true pronunciation of Gigli is NOT "jee-lee" as hollywood pretends. It is actually "jeel-yee". In classical italian/modern academic italian, the GL sound is pronounced exactly similarly to the LL in spanish. There is a Y in there that is being forgotten. Anyway, the movie, like the placebo relationship is just another stunt. I have had enough of both of these characters. Matt Damon must be so ashamed of Ben, I know I am.

Francois: Nice work! The WTBS was onto something, in that Babylon obviously had a meaning to be discovered, but that's where their logic ended. For a couple of years now, I am starting to think that Babylon the Great is in fact the U.S.A! Here's why: 1. The US fornicates with every other government on a regular basis 2. The US government is bloodguilty in too many ways to mention 3. The US has had a hypnotic trance-like effect on mankind due to: a. everyone wants asylum in america b. everyone wants american products c. everyone wants american entertainment (music, movies, culture) d. everyone wants american money 4. The US is the most popular place in the world 5. Economies/merchants everywhere depend on the US economy 6. Technology and the global marketplace were built in the US Like Babylon, when the US empire falls, it will be a shock and surprise to the world. People will weep over the US, like Charlton Heston finding the head of the statue of liberty during the finale of Planet of the Apes. All empires fall, and it's just a matter of time for the US. Even Rome did not have enough tribute money to keep barbarians away.
